90-Day Warranty on Refurbished Phones
Refurbished phones and iPads from DhaliwalCellCare come with a 90-day warranty covering functionality issues or simply if you change your mind, with hassle-free returns. No explanation needed beyond a simple "I'm not satisfied," though we always value additional feedback, and our support team is adept at remotely assisting with any minor issues. Your 90-day warranty begins from the day you receive your device.
We're committed to ensuring your satisfaction within this period, offering options for repairs, replacements, or refunds. Just reach out to our support team at dhaliwalcellcare@gmail.com, and we'll discuss the details of your return and work together to find the best solution for you. Once your device is ready for return, we'll provide you with a prepaid shipping label or a Return Merchandise Authorization, covering return shipping costs within Canada.
Please note that replacements are dependent on availability. If an identical replacement isn't available, we'll strive to recommend a similar product or provide repair or refund alternatives.
Devices must be returned in the same condition they were received. Our 90-day warranty does not cover accidental or physical damage. Returns for damaged devices cannot be accepted. If you require assistance with an out-of-warranty repair, we can offer repair quotes or recommend local repair services.
If your device appears to have been damaged during shipment, and there are signs of physical damage, please contact us at dhaliwalcellcare@gmail.com within 2 days of receipt, so we can initiate an investigation with the carrier promptly. Please retain all original packaging and refrain from setting up the device. Our team will provide further instructions as needed.
Brand-New-In-Box Phones
DhaliwalCellCare introduced a limited range of Brand New in Box phones in May 2022.
For these Brand New devices, the return period spans 14 days if you've had a change of heart regarding your purchase. It's important to note that we can only accept returns for unopened, original packaging Brand New devices.
We extend a 90-day warranty specifically for functionality issues on these brand-new devices. Should you encounter any problems with your Brand New phone during this timeframe, please don't hesitate to reach out to us, and we'll gladly assist you.
While we assure you that these devices are indeed brand-new and sealed in their original packaging, we cannot guarantee that they all retain their manufacturer warranty, as warranty policies differ across manufacturers.
If a phone remains covered by the manufacturer's warranty, please bear in mind that such warranties typically pertain to specific hardware and functional issues, excluding accidental or physical damage. You can refer to Apple's limited warranty terms for further clarification.
Returning Your Device
To initiate the process, simply reach out to our support team via phone or email at dhaliwalcellcare@gmail.com. If we're unable to resolve your concern remotely or if you've had a change of heart regarding the phone, we'll kickstart the return procedure and assist you every step of the way.
Before returning the phone, we'll kindly ask you to unlink your Apple ID, Google, and Samsung accounts from the device. Once completed, we'll provide you with a prepaid return label or a Return Merchandise Authorization for shipping the phone back to us. Rest assured, we cover the return shipping costs within Canada.
Upon receiving your phone, we'll promptly handle your return, whether it involves repair, issuing a refund, or sending a replacement. Typically, returns are processed within 2-3 business days.
Please be aware that for non-functionality-related refund requests, we can only refund accessories if they remain unused and unopened. Screen protectors, in such cases, are not eligible for refunds.

What are your shipping policies?
For most orders, please allow up to 12 days for delivery. However, please note that shipping timeframes may vary depending on your location. To ensure timely delivery, we use this timeframe as a precaution, but rest assured, in most cases, orders arrive well before the maximum time frame.

Can I request another carrier?

Additional fees for UPS and FedEx shipping are contingent upon your region. It's important to note that same-day shipment is not feasible with UPS, FedEx, or any other alternative shipping method.
Do you ship to the US?

Do you ship outside of Canada?
We're pleased to inform you that we can fulfill individual orders to the US and provide worldwide shipping options.
What if my phone gets lost or damaged in transit?
Rest assured, occasional shipping delays affect only a small fraction of the orders we dispatch, but rest assured, our customers almost invariably receive their devices as intended.
Monitor the tracking page provided in your shipping email for real-time updates. If you haven't received this email, please don't hesitate to contact our support team, and we'll promptly provide you with your tracking information.
Should the tracking information cease to update or if the delivery extends beyond the anticipated arrival date by a day or two, reach out to us for assistance. We'll initiate an investigation with our courier partner to locate your package and ensure its safe and timely delivery.
In the event that your phone appears to have sustained damage during shipment and exhibits signs of such damage, kindly notify us via email at dhaliwalcellcare@gmail.com within 2 days of receipt. It's imperative to retain all original packaging and refrain from setting up the phone. Our team will furnish you with further instructions promptly.

What does the device condition mean?
Each phone category displayed on our website encompasses all devices in our inventory that meet that particular description, rather than showcasing just one phone. Due to the rapid turnover of our inventory, it's impractical to photograph every single device. However, the images provided serve as representatives of phones in Good, Very Good, or Like New conditions.
Every phone sold by DhaliwalCellCare undergoes thorough testing and is guaranteed to be in impeccable working order. However, the appearance of used phones may vary slightly.
This is why we classify each phone into one of three categories: Like-New, Very Good, or Good, based on its cosmetic condition. Here's what each rating entails:
Like-New:
This denotes the highest condition achievable for a used phone. It's important to note that the condition of a Like-New iPhone 5 may slightly differ from that of a Like-New iPhone 8 due to varying levels of wear and tear on older models. Nonetheless, all DhaliwalCellCare Like-New devices will be devoid of any clearly visible dents or chips on the front of the phone. Any imperfections, if present, are typically confined to the back or side of the device.
Very Good:
Devices in this condition have been gently used but meticulously cared for. A Very Good phone, like all our phones, will exhibit no significant imperfections. You may observe slight scuffing on the device's sides or light scratches on the body. However, if there are any imperfections on the front screen, they will not be noticeable when the screen is illuminated. Overall, these minor physical imperfections will not impact the everyday use of your phone.
Good:
A phone categorized as "Good" has been adequately used, displaying some scuffing and/or chips on its body. Expect a few scratches, particularly on the bezel or sides of the phone. There may also be some screen scratches. Nevertheless, all imperfections are purely cosmetic and will not hinder the functionality of your device.
How do you check for battery quality?
As part of our meticulous 30-point quality assessment, we conduct a comprehensive battery examination. We utilize advanced tools to gauge the remaining battery capacity, comparing it to the original capacity specified during manufacturing. This meticulous process ensures that the battery performs nearly as efficiently as when the device was new. If the battery falls short of our standards, we promptly replace it, ensuring that our customers won't encounter any unforeseen issues.
Battery health is a common concern among smartphone users, and rightfully so, as lithium-ion batteries degrade over time. Recognizing this, as a business specializing in the sale of pre-owned smartphones, we've invested significant effort in determining which batteries require replacement and which ones can remain in the device. We strive to strike a balance between two key factors:
- Ensuring that our customers can enjoy a full day of usage on a single charge, typically ranging between 5 and 8 hours of active use depending on the model (please note that heavy users may require more frequent charging, even with a new phone!).
- Maintaining the affordability of our phones: Replacement batteries come at a cost, and the more replacements we perform, the higher the prices of our phones would have to be.
Taking both aspects into account, we've established our replacement threshold at 83% of the original charge capacity. If your DhaliwalCellCare phone's battery fails to deliver a full day of casual usage, please don't hesitate to inform us, and one of our dedicated customer advocates will assist you with a thorough battery health assessment. We stand behind the battery health of our phones, backing it up with our 90-day, no-questions-asked return policy.
Does DhaliwalCellCare use original parts for repairs?
Unfortunately, no.
Only Apple and their authorized service partners have access to genuine Apple OEM parts worldwide. At DhaliwalCellCare, we utilize rigorously tested third-party parts that meet our quality standards and trust. Therefore, a phone repaired at Dhaliwal Cell Care may contain non-OEM parts.
Can DhaliwalCellCare Put A New Battery In My Phone Before Shipment?
We're thrilled to introduce a new service - battery replacements before shipment - available now on a select range of phones!
For those considering older models such as the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, or iPhone X, concerns about battery health may arise. While we stand by our assurance that any phone purchased from us will easily last through a day of regular usage, we recognize that closer attention to battery health, particularly nearing our 83% threshold, may be more crucial for older models with less robust battery performance compared to newer counterparts.
For a nominal fee of $50 plus tax, you can opt for this battery upgrade during the ordering process by selecting the "Upgrade to Replacement battery for $50" option on the item page. If you don't see this option available for the phone you've chosen, unfortunately, the add-on is not currently offered for that model. Presently, this service is exclusively offered for the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone X.
Upon selecting this add-on, rest assured that your phone will arrive with a brand-new battery at 100% health. Please bear in mind that opting for this service may extend the shipping time of your order by 1-2 days, as we'll require additional time to prepare your order accordingly.

Are DhaliwalCellCare phones water-resistant?
No. It's crucial to understand that used phones, even those purchased from DhaliwalCellCare, should not be presumed to be water-resistant.
Although newer iterations of iPhones and Samsung Galaxy devices boast water-resistant features, the seals responsible for providing water resistance degrade over time due to regular usage. Consequently, neither Apple nor Samsung covers water damage under their limited warranties. For more insights into water resistance and why it's excluded from their limited warranties, refer to the respective Apple and Samsung websites.
Despite our rigorous testing procedures, we cannot ascertain whether the water-resistant seals have deteriorated over time or if the phone has undergone repairs that compromise its water resistance entirely. Consequently, water damage is not covered under DhaliwalCellCare's 90-day warranty.
If concerns regarding splashes and spills persist, our one-year extended warranty provides comprehensive coverage for any potential mishaps, including accidental immersion in water.
What operating system are your phones running?
While we don't individually update every phone, the majority of devices in our inventory are equipped with the latest available operating system version.
Should you require a phone with a particular OS version, simply inform us. Our team will gladly assist you in locating one that meets your specifications.
Will My Pixel Phone Be Bootloader-Unlocked?
It can be! Unlocking the bootloader on your Pixel can be beneficial for those interested in developer options or planning to install a custom OS. If you require a bootloader-unlocked device or wish to have one unlocked, we're more than happy to accommodate your request.
Simply reach out to our support team at dhaliwalcellcare@gmail.com immediately after placing your Pixel order, and we'll coordinate the unlocking process before your order is shipped out. While our turnaround time for bootloader unlocks is swift, please be aware that this process may delay your order by 1 business day. It's important to note that we cannot unlock a phone's bootloader remotely once an order has been shipped.
Please be advised that our team is unable to provide assistance with custom OS installation or address inquiries regarding developer options on Android phones. Should any issues arise due to a custom OS installation, it's essential to understand that the 90-day warranty on your device would be rendered void.
How do you stock and price your inventory?
At DhaliwalCellCare, our inventory is sourced from individuals who sell their phones to us via our app. Through our rigorous testing process within the DhaliwalCellCare app, we ensure that each phone is fully functional before being accepted. Additionally, we collaborate with wholesale partners and acquire phones through our corporate buyback initiative.
Upon arrival at our office, each phone undergoes two additional rounds of hands-on quality testing. We exclusively offer phones that pass all of our stringent tests, providing assurance to our customers that they are purchasing fully operational devices.
The pricing of each phone is determined based on its Fair Market Value, which is calculated as an average of the prices for identical phones across various marketplaces such as Craigslist and eBay. This pricing method not only dictates how much we pay sellers for their devices but also establishes the listing price for phones in our inventory.
How do you know your phones aren’t stolen?
At DhaliwalCellCare, we stand by our commitment to ensuring that no phones sold by us are or will ever be reported as stolen. Our top priority is providing confidence in every phone we sell, which is why we offer replacements or refunds if your DhaliwalCellCare phone is ever found on the blacklist, even after your warranty has expired.
We dedicate significant efforts to prevent the circulation of stolen devices. To date, DhaliwalCellCare has not encountered any instances of our phones being reported as stolen.
To safeguard against stolen phones entering our inventory, we implement several precautions. Foremost among these is cross-referencing all our inventory with the Canadian Wireless Telecommunications Association’s national blacklist of lost and stolen phones. Additionally, we subject all our phones to two rounds of rigorous quality testing, ensuring that each device is disassociated from the account and SIM card of its previous owner.
